Now That Your Gone
Here I sit,
Staring out my window,
Hoping that your car will pull up the driveway.
But nothing but the wind roars through the streets,
and I hang my head sadly,
wishing and watching,
Alone.

Drizzy:
Well written and presented. Most mournfully sad and, at the same time, hopeful.
Gave it an "I Like It" vote.
Spelling in title: Should read:
"Now That You're Gone" You might want to change it.
Happy trails,
Ed Bradley.
I remember when my best friend moved away, it was so sad at first, but eventually it hurt less. But I never forgot her. I saw her a few days ago actually, and it seems that she had forgotten me.
