From The Start: The Epilogue

This guy ws definitely winking at me. I rolled my eyes and focused on my almost finished experiment in Biology, we were in a lab. And here that guy was, I think his name is Alex, was winking at me and grinning like crazy. What a flirt. His partner was nudging him to do work, and he gladly took all her work and done it in mere seconds, hmm, he wasn't so bad. BUT HE'S gonna be, for me.

"This jerk must really stop winking at me." I murmured to myself. Then as if someone read my mind, someone cleared his throat. 

And when I said his, he is a guy. Well, he's some other guy, he's not Chase Triester, and I'm joking. Alex looked behind me, and after mere 10 seconds, he froze and never looked back at me again. I almost laughed at his scared face. But thanks to that guy behind my back, I was focused again to finishing the product.

As if they heard the loud bell rang, one by one, the people in the room left and excitedly ran away. I asked the girl who just passed by. 

"You already goin?" SHe smiled.

"Yeah, I still have a ballet practice and I have to return this at the Science Lab 4 stairs up, so I'm leaving.." I smiled.

"No, lemme help, you should go, I will be the one to return this, good luck!" She thanked me and gracefully flew outside the room.

Well, I was finished by the time she disappeared, and no one was left anymore, except me and you know...just get it! I gathered all the apparatus I used and dropped them carefully on the tray the girl put on my table. She used 4 beakers and 2 stirring rods, and me? Just some funnel, stirring rod, stove and what not. I took the tray and walked out of my table, careful not to slip; I was on my Converse, and I know Converse don't slip, but really, this room has really slippy floors. And blame the clean freak janitor for that.

I was about to go out of the room, when I heard some sneaker squeak, then a hand took the tray away from my hand and spun me around, and when I finally realized everything, his lip already touched mine.

When he pulled away, I already felt a blush rising up on my cheeks, I pushed the tray on him and glared.

"You put that back." He smirked.

"No problem." And with that, he quickly rushed off.

I tried to calm down when I reached my locker, but Karisha took a glimpse on me and she grinned.

"Something happened in the Biology room? You look really flushed." I opened my locker and stuffed all the things I brought.

"Nothing happened.." I murmured. "just pure idiocy." Karisha laughed.

"Hey, it's Friday night...we're watching Logan's films." I opened my mouth to answer.

"It's Friday night." Someone answered for me. 

"Shut up, Chase." There I said it! HIS NAME. And umm, Chase is my boyfriend , and that is an understatement.

"Ohh, it's a couple night." Karisha teased.

"That's not it!" I screamed. Chase laughed behind me. I nudged him, and he just grinned.

"It's really called Chase and Kirstie night." I rolled my eyes.

"Too bad, Stie. We'll watch Channing's and Logan's." I bit my lip.

"Don't tell me, you're gonna choose Channing over me? Coome ooon! You chose Justin Bieber last summer over me!" I smiled.

Justin Bieber had a live concert and I couldn't let this opportunity pass. So instead of Chase's offer, I dragged him on Justin Bieber's show. He said Justin sucked, but I just ignored him. After the concert, he ignored me for like 3 days. But he gave up is an understatement too. 

"So, you're gonna ignore me again?" I teased. "Chase, you suck when you hide a smirk. I always see you!" He just laughed.

"You don't how much temptation it was when my phone was displayed in front of my nighstand!" I laughed.

"But you really called, so it's not 3 days, you liar. You called on the first day, you said sorry." Karisha laughed so hard.

"But you can't win today." Chase murmured then he whispered on my ear. "I didn't miss that wink he gave you when he left, I don't let guys do that to my girlfriend..." I swear my stomach did a gold medal back flip. I gave Karisha a sad look.

"Jerk won, I can't have my way tonight." I murmured. "Because Chase Triester sucks."

"Next time would be nice, and this time, I'll steal you from him!"

"You better!" Chase rolled his eyes. "Bye Risha, say hi to Jayden from me!" Karisha smiled and left. Then I poked Chase's chest.

"You really *poke* suck *poke* Chase." He laughed then pulled me close.

"Because I love Kirstie." I rolled my eyes. He pulled me away from the crowd, and I couldn't object no more.

"Where are you really taking me?" I mumbled.

"Shh, we're almost there." I just shrugged. "We're here." I untied the hanky and gasped when I saw the stars twinkling like it was very near me.

"It's....amazing." I mumbled. He laughed behind me.

"Thanks for the compliment." He whispered. I laughed.

"Idiot, it's not you I'm talking about." He shrugged.

"But you love me more than the stars, I won't be jealous." I rolled my eyes.

"Whatever, Chase." I walked away from him, though the space in the tree house was very limited.

When I was not staring at him anymore, I heard the floor move, and my body being pulled close. His breathe was so close onto my face, it tickled me.

"No joking, I want to hear it from ya." I closed my eyes.

"Why do you need to hear it? I already told you before."

"Before? That was 4 months ago!" I bit my lip.

"Chase, I don't think I can say it."

"I'll be hurt." I sighed.

"Fine..." I took a deep breath. "I love you, Chase Triester even though you're such a jerk at times, even if you fool around, even if you stole kisses from me, even though you almost raged to death when you found out that I left my cellphone and someone deleted just your messages, even though you always budge at my door, even though you don't make the best cocoa I've drinked, even though what you think is really unpredictable, even though girls love you, even though you wink at them at times, even though you always do the stupidest things boyfriend's do, even though you always snatch my chocolate bar. I love you, I love you, I love you!" His grin was priceless, for me.

He pulled me close.

"I don't wink at them, they wink at me. I don't add sugar to the cocoa, because I hate too much sweet. Yes, I almost raged to death, but when you kissed me, it didn't even matter to me anymore. And I'll always be your jerk because I LOVE YOU TOO."

Then he didn't need to be told twice when he leaned in and kissed me.

At first, we were very opposites, and I grew up knowing that. Simple fights make great bonding, and that's what happened to me and Chase. Chase maybe such a jerk at times, but I love how a jerk he is. Even if I live another life time, I wouldn't exchange this life I'm living now. I'm still even thankful to all the guys who hurted me; because they let me realize who was very important to me; Chase. There will be many more reasons and 'even though's' if you ask me why I love Chase Triester. He is my one and only soulmate.

And he is my Prince Charming, BEFORE MY HAPPILY ENDING. ?
