If you ever knew
what you meant to me
would you still be here to see
what we could be,
what could've happened next?
if you ever heard
the unspoken words
would you ever cross
that bridge and burn
it after yourself?
did you ever feel
how my skin crawled
when I let you go?
did you ever know
how I wanted to stay?
if you ever loved
me like I loved you
would it still be true
when you said it's too
late for us?
