Catching a dream

Tucked up in bed thoughts of tomorrow running round my head, with my eyelids closing like the stage curtains at the end of a play, my inner sprit set to leave my outer body to catch a dream to keep me company on the long night ahead. With my eyes open in my inner sprit but still closed in my outer body. I drift across the plains feeling no pain on my bare feet up ahead i see a red indian waiting to greet me to his village, where I see children playing the mums and dads doing the chores, and the elders gathered round the fire talking about the past and worried about the future. As I approach the village I notice the Indian staring at my side, I look down and notice a wolf walking buy my side, with all the grace of a ballet dancer dancing on swan lake. The Indian speaks, don't be afraid off the wolf and hide your fears. Now let me show you around my village, as he turned I noticed a grizzly bear buy his side, and as I walked further into the village I noticed other people with animals buy their sides. Then the indian turns to me and says, all the animals you can see are guardians of dreams but not all people are gifted with a guardian of of their dreams. But why me I ask, the Indian says, you have been given this gift cause you respect life and kind to nature and the animals that live here, but most of all you enjoy life. And alway remember if you give up on any of the above your guardian will fade away and your nightmares will begin again. And your guardian will howl in the night calling for another inner sprit. Then my inner sprit starts to go back to my outer body, the indian says now go and be at peace with yourself, and never be afraid to show your feelings and never hide your smile cause it's never a sin to be glad your alive.
