Want to get rid of these ads?

This is something I wrote about a teenager. It's not a very long piece, and I don't want to say too much about it 'cos I want to leave it up to the reader to make what they like of it. Enjoy.


I glance down at the stool beneath my trembling legs. I feel unaturally dizzy for someone only a few feet off the ground. My heart thudding, I somehow manage to turn my ugly school tie into a fatal weapon. My hands pull it over my head, and the cheap fabric irritates my neck just as it has for the three years I've been wearing it. Only this time, I don't care. I don't care about anything anymore.
