your acid tongue burns the roof of your own mouth

see the glazed look in my eyes?- i'm unharmed

try to devour my flesh- it's made of steel

try to burn my heart- it doesn't exist

break my bones and shatter my skull

death shall not come easily to me

you are meek

you fear the never-ending purgatory of your own mind as you rot from the inside out

maggots crawl already through your empty eye sockets

for you cannot see the truth

you spit the stinging words into the wind

your anger is a reflection of your fears

you reflect your vulnerabilities

so when i spit... it hits the mark

you are weak in your fury, in your rage

you are insolent and blind

you reek of ignorance and cheap cologne

and as i stand and walk away

and you go crawling to your knees

i'll turn once

onlyi won't spit rage, but something with more poison

i'll spit pity
