I was going through black and white photos when I found one of two dandelions. This poem came into my head.

She walks through the grass,

Her small feet squishing it down.

Covered in spots of brown.

The blades of grass glittered to her like glass.

 

She bent down to the little white mass, 

Smiling like a little clown.

She was in her princess gown,

A bonny blue lass.

 

She closed her eyes and blew,

Smiling to the sky.

 

Around her blond hair they flew,

Up until she couldn't see them so high.

 

She hoped her wish would come true,

Her little wish to be able to fly...
