Cry, violin, cry and dream
One more stream of dreamy scenes
Which seem so real as if they came
Out of the deepest crimson shame
Dance through the realm of stars
Where slumber rules the kings and gods
My vision’s waters ripple far
Rising to the angels’ bar
Children in the darkest dawn
Waiting long to take their throne
Twelve dragons’ wings they need to fly
From jungles wild to deserts dry
They always play to let you sleep
They sing ballads to help you weep
A face of joy and love and death
Followed by a freezing threat
Call for the fair, and love the free
That moonlit land not meant to be
Make your name the music’s heart
For violins tore your world apart
