Slam the door, to death to bore
Pour no more the blood
Let the mice eat up the spice
Find my dress in mud
So she sang and so she wept
Darkest secret ever kept
Save the holy, kill the foul
When they hung her wicked soul
No milk for ink, no rise, no sink
To think of you is pain
Touch the skin, such cheeky whim
A link to break my chain
So she sang and so she wept
Darkest secret ever kept
Save the holy, kill the foul
When they hung her wicked soul
Sweep the porch, blow out the torch
Play the black-black blues
Kiss the lips, a sparkling bliss
Miss the morning muse
So she sang and so she wept
Darkest secret ever kept
Save the holy, kill the foul
When they hung her wicked soul
Now the dawn whitens the bone
Alone with the wall
Moss to have that scary bed
Greenest bed of all
So she sang and so she wept
Darkest secret ever kept
Save the holy, kill the foul
When they hung her wicked soul
