Sing me a song
Thou Saint of Angelheart
Where are thy wings?
Where do those trees grow?
The trees you promised years ago
The trees that bear
The fruit of salvation

Come forth and speak
Are those heavens in the clouds?
The heavens you painted
In candlesweet dreams
Oh, erase my doubts
And why are thy fangs foul
As the night?

Thy voice is the drums
That mark the beating
Of my veins, but thy eyes
They shine so bright
Where are your mates?
And why those blades
In thy hands?
