That type of beauty breaks his voice
A billion hearts would make a choice
To look, to cheer, to have, to stand
And on a silky grass to land
His eyes are ice on sunlit skin
My dreamland borders dull and thin
How in his mind the moon does shine
Making angels smile and whine

He is my dreamboy, bright and sweet
Melting worlds with sun-red heat
In that memory I once read
No rainbow bowed its painted head
This is my ’hey now, let us live’
This is the land of love and give
For us to lose a dreamboy’s gold
A foolish call for winter’s cold
Young maidens spill their sparkle-song
Their movements swift, what could go wrong?
Back in the shades our fairy king
Aims to fly with a broken wing

That world is breathing through my soul
Those folks are eating from my bowl
When in my eyes a candle dies
Upon which my sense relies
Then some clouds just come and say
Goodbye to sunlight, joy and day
Time for the moody, silver stars
Bring new pain to the long-healed scars
The dreamboy’s lost, the sky is green
The vultures laugh, what do they mean?
More than ever the earth seems black
Compensate for the warm light’s lack
