The warm bright sun bounced off the rolling hills in the distance, it was a beautiful day in Castro Valley California.  Emily was on her way home from work.  She glanced out the car window at the pavement speeding by, it looked like an abstract painting. A bug hit her window with a loud splat. There was a small crack in her windshield, she never noticed it till now.  As the brick wall quickly approached, for a moment, she contemplated not turning.
