There is anxiety in the air

Anxious about the new chapter

Leaving behind your family and all their care

To reach out beyond these pastures

Out into the world’s unknown

And only connection is through the phone

But there’s one girl who doesn’t want to leave

She doesn’t want to find the world’s treasures

The idea of that life causes her to heave

Because she can’t live up to great measures

She wants to break free from her home

But she can’t be on her own

There is a fear of too much freedom

How much will she be able to handle?

She’s no longer in daddy’s kingdom

How long before her first great scandal?

She feels like she’s growing up to fast

She misses the security, wishing it would’ve last

Freedom is a harsh and scary task

A naïve girl like her? Well, do the math
