Look how far we've fallen, it's a shame. I weep for all ofus

Commercials promoting vanity

Advertising drunkardness and stupidity

All for a kid’s program on Disney Channel

Go on, Media, promote the latest scandal

Oh, how I weep for humanity

Poison the mind of the next generation

A youngin’ might save our nation

How far we’ve fallen from our Father’s eyes

Plummeting world? What a surprise!

Oh, how I weep for humanity

Police pursuit ending in a crash

The culprit is dead in a pile of ash

Why does this make it any less terrible?

Life being dead is still unbearable!

Oh! How I weep for humanity

They killed him! It’s a grudge I hold

It’s his life, his soul that they’ve sold

I hate them for what they did to my family

Causing us grief and such agony

Oh, how I weep for humanity

I weep for the trouble we’re in

Our nature, far too deep in sin

But mostly I weep, because I’m the same

Sucked into a life of the inhumane

Oh, how I weep for humanity

For all of us and our sad travesty

When we get caught up in the materialism of the world and the lures it offers that are only illusions ...we are all in danger of inhumanity. I would add cruelty to animals among one of the top ways our society is inhumane and irresponsible.
