DARKNESS BEHIND THE ENLIGHTENED TRUTH
The sun rose higher in the sky, And my heart sank lower than my soul. The very first sunbeam crept over upon my face, Striking it like a lavish streak of joy and excitement But within me was only grief and sadness, Reckoning the day I saw you pass by, Left footsteps on my doorway.
The thought of you being with me flourished my soul with a pinch of happiness. As the rush of happiness passed by my body, The very odd sadness took its place with an unusual anxiety.
The truth of my life seemed to pour darkness all over the world. The thought of the child that explained; if he covered his face, The world would not see him gave me an adrenaline rush. Your face still blur in my mind, Revolving around me like an unfinished puzzle, troubled me and questioned me for this misfortune which laid its arms in my undesirable life.

I have to agree with Kailey monster this poem captures the emotions and confusion that comes along with being a teenager, this is yet again a well written poem. :)

This is beautiful :D It completely describes the confusion and emotional distress that comes with being a teenager. Can't wait for more.
