You smile
And a little boy longs to run
Barefoot
On the wet grass
Once more.
His paper boats emerge
From deep blue memory
His dream discards the diaphanous staleness
And roars and shakes its mane
He breaks down the wall,
The little one,
Against which his nerves were stretched.
His stride.
Tiny ripples. Soon perish.
But who will hold the aftershocks?
The super nova beckons.
The Little One soars…
