Running away from your problems is only a temporary fix... But it might be the only fix there is.

I feel kinda like there's never enough.

Like there's nothing I can do

And life will always be tough.

I feel as if the world is spinning around me.

As I'm still and watching, the only one standing.

I'm alone, even with these people beside me.

So, I run and run until my legs get shaky.

I run until I fall to the ground.

I am already broken, so you cannot break me.

The spinning is faster, more now than ever

And I wonder what will happen.

Will this go on forever?

So I run and run to find a safe place.

But I stop when I realize I'm all that I have.

Because this pain I feel, you can't erase.

This running is a temporary fix.

As a drug, this is bitter sweet.

It may never be better, but this will smooth the nicks.

So, I run and run until my legs get shaky.

I run until I fall to the ground.

I am already broken, so you cannot break me.
