Attention in their stance,

Fallen men stand,

Rising soldiers rank.

The blood shod floor,

Soaked with tears,

The gentle mirror,

Reflects the years.

The pearlescent lake,

Lay witness to each,

Last breath they take,

With miserable fears,

The waters rise,

But tranquillity remains,

Through each demise.

So, with great awe and grace,

They cast their gaze,

To see the poppy embrace.
