A riddle of revenge in death. This is also part of my story The Mousetrap Revenge

Not a drop to waste of its sweet taste

Passing through my lips enjoying every secret sip

*

Hidden within my drink I am on the brink

Achieving what I seek as my body grows weak

*

I shed not a tear as freedom is near

This poison that I hide is slowly crystallizing me inside

*

Held within my last sigh is one last joke as I say goodbye

No one will ever suspect my self-inflicted project

*

It is your turn to fear your punishment my dear

For years of torment I will not lament

*

As you pray for freedom everyday

Of my sweet drink you will daily think
