Anwesha, the dreaded witch, has escaped from captivity and supposedly vanished into thin air. No-one knows where she is. Or what she’s intending to do. They wait in suspense expecting her retaliation any moment. But full moon comes and goes and there is no sign of her. Is that a good thing or bad? The inheritors don’t know what to think. But Ayush‘s mother is firm. It’s time to return to the real world. Autumn break is over and the children must return to school. And it’s St. Lawrence that’s chosen. It’s a boarding school situated near Dehradun and the Principal Mr. Angelo is a Keeper. The safest place they can be. Together. For everyone it’s the ideal solution. The keepers are relieved that the children will be in a secure environment where it will be easier to keep an eye on them.
But St. Lawrence is far from the secure haven they had envisioned. Ayush is wary of their new roommate Tushar who seems picture perfect and who keeps midnight assignations in the woods on rainy windswept nights. Is Ayush paranoid or is there something seriously amiss with Tushar? The new replacement teacher Mr. Gomez with his scary scars seems to be taking over the school insidiously. Ayush discovers things about his crystal and himself which shake him to the core. Is he experiencing past life regression or is Anwesha playing her mind tricks on him? Why are they fighting amongst themselves? Why is Sameer turning hostile? Something is there. In their midst. Creeping up stealthily. “She’s here.” Damini tells them. “Anwesha’s here.”
Without any warning their world goes into a tailspin and the inheritors find themselves caught up in a race to save their school and the students from Anwesha. They have no idea who she might be- a cleaner, a student, a teacher. Where she might be. And then things begin to spiral out of control when Ayush finds out Anwesha is there for him. “I have such plans for you my prince.” What does she want from him? Why is she targeting him? And why is it only he can see her? Secrets are unraveling from Ayush’s past and reaching out to endanger his present. Can he save himself and his school? Can he destroy Anwesha once and for all or will he be destroyed forever? Is the power of the cube strong enough to protect him from Anwesha’s sorcery?
This sequel to the cube ends it all. The final battle between Ayush and Anwesha. One dead and one victor. Who is the victor and who dies?
