A A A

when you woke up,
did you hear sirens?,
was your last breath,
a silent roar?,
when you realized,
in last seconds,
did you remember,
a childs smile?

It's not easy letting go,
I can taste the fear in your last moments,
the tears you've shed from nights to potent,
The heart in your chest,
sight will fade as it stops beating,
you never meant to be misleading, I know.

was there bright lights?,
or only darkness?,
a sinking feeling?,
or numb despair?,
all men before you,
and all after
so complicated,
but simple in the end.

now your a genius,
don't answer questions,
because your gone.
