It's that time of year again,

When we turn our clocks back,

to share our silent happiness,

an unspoken kind of truth,

that only the unfortunate feel,

and it feels so real.

On the eve of spring and the peace it brings,

I hold the hand that I slap back at,

and I let it guide me home,

to the warm silent beauty of a clear blue sky.

A transparent effect on the frequency of my mind,

brings a sudden halt to this war inside,

thank you spring and the peace you bring,

to a man in a battle within himself.
