I see a man from across the room,

Sucking up self confidence,

drowning in his own false time,

This fight would be an even match,

I know him all to well,

I can see myself,

he breathes my air,

subtle movements buying lies for time,

This dream is a self reflective nightmare,

sometimes it's what you need to see,

when who you are is hard to believe,

I try to take away his outlet,

my arm falls through its useless,

I'm forced to watch his selfless demise,

her eyes stare from across the room,

he has no idea that she's there,

or even alive at all,

wake up.
