It's dark, it hurts, it destroys

Slowly taking away happiness

Secretly pushing people away

Until you realize that there's nothing left

It's taken everything, it's made your life miserable, and it's left you alone

There's no way out

It's terrible, it's pointless, it's filled with regret

The guilt becomes unbearable

The regret is too much to tolerate

You want to go back in time and never start

It's broken you down, it's ruined you, and it's caused you to fall apart

There's no way out

It's powerful, it's hooking, it's imperative

Unable to go on with out it

It becomes what you depend on

You want to stop, but you can't

It's what you need, it's taken you over, it's become who you are

There's no way out
