Here comes the guitar solo,
A masterpiece from the man himself,
Boy that kid sure can play guitar,
Where did he learn to play so well?

Here comes the guitar solo,
Hear the rhythm that he plays,
I could listen all day long,
The music puts me in a daze.

His long fingers caress the guitar,
Weaned on music at an early age,
His music comes straight from the heart,
Music is his life and life is his stage.

Here comes the guitar solo,
Isn’t it all that I promised you?
Not only can he play guitar,
But that boy can sing too.

He’s sure got some talent,
And I’m sure you’ll agree,
Here is that guitar solo,
And that music that stirs me.

Oh that boys guitar solo,
Stirs something inside my soul,
Takes the weight off my shoulders,
The weight of time that took its toll.
