I walked a lonely road away,
I walked into the light of day,
This is something I want to say,
My soul no longer black is grey.

I walked a lonely road to get here,
I confronted all my fears,
I brushed away all of my tears,
I shattered all the empty mirrors.

I walked a lonely road to see you,
And cast away all truths untrue,
And cast away all absent hopes to,
And I discovered what I never knew.
