Gently turn the withered pages,
Cover cracked and brittle,
Paper yellowed by the ages,
Spine bent like a crooked back.
Despite its age it is a treasure,
Words of gold inside are hidden,
Simply read the faded letters,
Unlock the haunted secrets within.
This sacred book is like no other,
It’s beauty lies in the mind of a child,
Care for it as if you were the mother,
Restore the fairy tale to glory.
