They tell me to smile

They say don’t CRY

But how can I do that

When I’ve already said

GOODBYE

I smile like doll

And say I’m OKAY

Although it’s fake

It gets them through the

DAY

What about me though

Do I matter at ALL

They sit and laugh

While I take the silent

FALL

But they still don’t understand

Why I keep to myself SO

Distant and isolated

Im still, crying non-stop you

KNOW

Now I just lay here not willing

And not wanting to FIGHT

Although I may not know it yet

My only true escape awaits me in the

NIGHT

Very soon I shall

Not have AWAKEN

My last breath I will have

TAKEN
