The first sign of maturity
Was a needle in the vein
I never thought it would come to this,
A needle in the vein.
Oh how I like that feeling,
A needle in the vein,
When I pull the plunger back
And see the blood come up
My heart starts racing
And my brain starts boiling
As I push the plunger in
A needle in the vein,
And my dreams finally begin
I lay there speechless
Next to my best friend
I don't need to speak to him
We talk through
This needle in the vein.
