Dear Andrew Jackson,
The trip was oh so fun; one-fourth of my people became ill and died. You forced us out of our homes; the least you could do is let us prepare for the journey and give us shelter during it.We had to march in the rain, snow, and cold. How would you feel if you had to do that?I had my people die around me.The faces that were so full of life are drained from their happiness. On the trip it was like each day we were closer and closer to our grave.I mean what have we ever done to you that made you hate you hate us with so much passion. The only reason why we had to move is because you said that we can’t have our own national government within national borders.Last time I checked this wasn't’t your land to begin with. Also who said you had any right to make us leave our homes or become one you, you’re not the leader of us.You know for so long we wanted to be exactly like you, but now I’m so glad we aren’t, because I would be ashamed to be anything like you.Well thanks for the trail of tears, hope your happy now.
