A RENDITION OF YOU

My first sight was like Bluestone Alley,

Overwhelmed like Clarinet Polka,

Mesmerized like Four Season Spring,

Soothing like it was Rivers Flow in You.

***

This heartbeat raced beyond Pine Apple Rags,

Skipped trembled a beat like Maple Leaf Rags,

Entrance and dazed like Love Story.

***

Sweet dates like Romance de Amor,

Funny times be like Radetzky March,

Random pace matching Original Rags,

Happy moments beat The Entertainer.

***

A distance from you was like Heidenroslein,

Thinking of you was like A la Claire Fontaine,

Missing you much was like O Sol Mio.

***

Fond memories written like Simple Gifts,

Never fade like Variations of Paganini,

Lingers along like The Skater’s Waltz.

***

Our fights resembles Dance of the Sugar Fairy,

Tough times was like Moment Musical Op.94,

Sometimes complicated like Symphony No 4 in G.

***

Our stories kept in a manuscript,

Neither too thin nor too thick,

Never fade, forever played,

As long as it stays, our memories will remain.

***

It was under this dim light,

I sat thinking about our life,

The only thing I knew,

Was to form a rendition of you.
