Fright

Ana Esther

(26th April, 2011)

I fear having no strength to help.

I fear having no strength to ask for help.

I fear being afraid...

...and I tremble.

I tremble with the lack of strength.

I tremble by the paralysis, the inertia, a blurring sight.

I tremble as I'm afraid...

...and I shut up.

I shut up with no strength to help.

I shut up and close my eyes.

I shut up in dumb panic.

I fear, I tremble and I shut up.
