My deceased father had sold a strip of land to a gentle man. But when the land was resurveyed it was still in my father’s name. He came to me and asked for help. Initially I became greedy; I thought that I will take possession of the land. Then I got second thoughts, perhaps I can ask him a commission of a few bucks for straightening the deal. But my conscience got better of me and I signed the document for his possession of the land. In thought I am betraying my conscience but in reality I am respecting it.
