Today I had to go to the land survey govt. office in the state of Kerala. I went there to sign an acceptance of a land that was sold by my father but still in his name since he is in the grave. Cobwebs were swimming lazily like fish having a ball in the sea. Yes, the office was computerized but on every table cluttered a pile of paper files. The people who work there behave like zombies. They are so flaccid and lack luster. They reply to you in dull, monotonous, bored speech. Do they enjoy the work they are doing? Time has mutilated their instincts to be creative and lyrical about living a life.
