ONE FATAL MOVE A slip in time a savage request a lock of hair thrown carelessly to the side a single decision an awkward poise a timeless dirge to the damned a hapless scourge to way lay one careless remark a moment of indecision and then the darkness creeps in it's awful to deal with the wrenching pain and no promise of tomorrow the gaze of the fallen penetrates deeply the elevated and the fallen all the same apart of the same woven garment and cloak to block out the sun and maybe the almighty that sees everything is just attempting not to commit suicide bashing his brains out in a padded cell to create the forms of chaos that abound maybe he's just suicidal and bored so he spews forth the countless masses simple and painstakingly true how to deal with absolute power and no one to share it with in the throes of infinity you would be a mess you would be a psychotic you would revert to being all over the place and in absolute solemnity go insane and some things come down to one false precept one false move a decision thrown aside carelessly I didn't mean to it didn't mean to the last glimpse of a fading light God's eyes captured in a flickering moment of focused thought and some things do fade away forgotten to posterity and washed out a slip in time a slip in the mind's eye and all is lost
