It's been three years since she took the throne of Seraphine, Alexandra has faced a number of challenges with her trusted guards, Mark and Valek, along with her best friend, Sophia, at her side. Finally finding love with one of her oldest friends from childhood, a recurring presence in her life threatens to shatter what they've built. David casts a spell meant for Alexandra, but at the last moment Nicholas steps in to protect her, taking the full blow. Making a deal with the country's Oracle, Alexandra exchanges what she holds precious and most dear to her heart for a device which will help her locate his scattered memories and save his life. Racing to find Nicholas' lost memories, she wonders if he'll ever love her again and whether she has what it takes to rule and defend her country from those who wish to take it from her.
