I saw Alison, she was wearing a white turban and a long white dress that covered she toes, she stood on a rock with the ocean behind she and waves smashed against the rock yet the damn girl did not seem to be wet. She lifted she right arm slowly and pointed to a cliff on the other side of the lagoon, the moon was above she head like an oversized halo making she look like some kind of saint or something, I mean, the bloody witch child looked like the devil’s right hand angel. She raised she other arm beckoning me towards she, but I stood there as the moonlight bounced off she skin making it shine. She began to float away from the rock the sea bashed against it spraying silver pellets of water in all direction, I closed me eyes so as not to get the salty liquid in them.

When I opened me eyes Alison was floating over the ocean, I mean, who the hell did she think she was Jesus or something? The water was at her feet and I saw the bottom of her dress darken as it touched the surface. I ran to the rock trying to save she, but I was too late, she was too far out to grab hold of, helpless I stood on the rock as she slowly sank an agonizing look on she face as she was finally swallowed up by the dark swell.  I lay down on the rock and stretched me hand out, but all I managed to do was ingest a mouthful of water me eyes and nose stinging as I coughed and gasped for breath. I was so busy trying to grab she I did not realize how close I was to falling in meself, I clawed at the rock, but it was too slick to hold on to and I plunged into the darkness me hands trashing round as I tried to maintain me buoyancy.

I sank to the bottom then bounced off the sand on the ocean’s bed and floated to the top me head tilted upwards. I passed Alison on the way up, she had a pleading expression on she face, small bubbles came out of she mouth and formed a circle above she head. I watched she disappear below me and was surprised when I reached the surface and was able to breath, the water was so damn cold, and the swelling waves were so frigging hard to fight against I knew me body would not take much more. I was thrown against the rocks hitting me right hand on the jagged edge shockwaves of pain shot through me arm and it went limp and I kicked harder trying to compensate for the loss of mobility in me arm. I hit the rocks again almost losing consciousness, but the cold wind brushed against me face waking me up.

I looked round and realized that I was sitting on the floor next to me bed,  me right arm was throbbing as sharp waves of pain streamed through it as I tried to push meself up. I managed to get meself up and stumbled into the bathroom, fumbled round in the dark turning on the light, I gasped when I saw me reflection in the mirror, I mean, me skin was as white as the dress Alison wore in the dream. I splashed some water on me face looked at meself again, damn who the hell was that?
