This poem is in English, but its meaning is still open to interpretation. Interpret it as you may, because I know what it really means! Please do not just comment that you cannot understand the Latin phrases, because the Internet is a wonderful tool for translators!

Trapped in a lie
and I don’t know why
Freedom is a ruse
why didn’t we just refuse?

It is now far too late!
We have already sealed our fate.
Gone are those happy times.
Now we pay for our crimes!

You could have stopped him
Now, your chance is slim.
No escape, or so they say.
If we hurry, we can get away.

It was so simple then
We cannot escape again.
Soon you will die
and so will I.

Ut is universitas , Inquam bonus
