I hear you complain and I hear you restrain

“Why is this happening to ME, oh god cant you see?!?!”

You lecture us from time to time

About how life really is when your time is right

But what you don’t see is that my time is here

So far away yet so near here, why cant you hear???

My cries for help, my plead to speak

You say your sorry and then you lie again

You say “it’ll never happen again” yet it’s the first of many times

I want to scream, I want to say

“what’s going on here, cant somebody explain?!?!?”

But no one can hear me, not even yourself

The one person I had to trust, the only one there was

And while you were off getting drowned in beer

I was too drowning, drowning in my tears

You were suppose to be there for me

You were suppose to help
