We used to take Mum out sometimes in the car

She loved being driven ,no matter how far

With wheelchair int boot , off we would go

And if I drove fast , she'd say 'Andrew go slow'

When we arrived at the destination ,garden centre or fayre

In her eyes you could see she loved being there

The plants and the flowers , the bees and the birds

The fish and the chickens ,with all she had words

Pushing my dear mum around on her wheels

Was no easy task but not a big deal

If I pushed her fast or let go on a slope

Her language was that bad , I needed some soap.
