Shadows brush the earth laid bare

Scattered dirt shows nothing there

Dead trees lie in decay

Skeletons of birds nearby lay

No life no love is welcome here

All that exists is cold grey air

No man will enter this forsaken place

Not even with the gift of grace

Centuries pass with the clouds

Silence alone is very loud

A rose tries to grow instead it wilts

Proof that here is nothing built

Nothing will ever grow again

The wounds will never wash away in the rain

It will just die more each day

Thats the last thing left to say
