We are all seekers of something
Specialized seekers if you may
For a certain something feeds us a tic,
In so, we keep toc'ing
and toc'ing -
In hopes for our tic,
In spite of our tic,
With love for our tic,
With vulnerable, hopeful eyes for our tic.
We feel it here, we see it there.
Its in the horizon, this tic
So we continue toc'ing and tic'ing
and tic'ing and toc'ing
until this forthgoing intimate cycle slows towards its mortal, toc-filled demise.
But it's okay, its all okay
For we've tic'd and we've toc'd our lives according to this tic-ing and toc-ing rhythmic harmony
Impulses and rewards our instincts and formula of being,
And so it is, the Clockmaster was right
He held the ultimate truth
In all his sinister, all knowing ways.
Time is infinitely all,
Obey, obey, obey
Tic - Toc - Tic - Toc
Keep tic-ing the human way
Tic - Toc - Tic - Toc
Withdrawn and drifting away
Tic - Toc
Mr. Clockmaster,
into another tic-ing and toc-ing day.
