HEART OF THE OCEAN

Frozen somewhere In time

two lovers are bound

Many souls forever lost

so many never found

~*~

Upon harsh frigid waves

They held tightly to each other

Clinging on to their love

their heart slowed to a flutter

~*~

But Jack was too weak

death had took hold

His grave lay below him

In the dark bitter cold

~*~

He held to her hand

he refused to let go

This heart of the ocean

his precious Rose

~*~

The greatest love of all time

aboard a fallen cruise ship

Had suddenly ended

these two lovers trip

~*~

Now eighty years later

Jacks heart of the ocean

Closed her tired weary eyes

In peace and devotion

~*~
