UNSPOKEN SECRET

Poem by: angellynn

Summary

I sat there in my place, that keeps me safe. Safe from his trust. Safe from his love. If this is what love feels like? Then I hate you daddy for loving me.Taylor223s Picture Challenge.

UNSPOKEN SECRET

She couldn't speak

her hearing gone

Upon the pier

she sits alone

***

Unspoken secret

her heart is shattered

Her tiny body

bruised and battered

***

Her reflection broken

by her tears

Unspoken words

she lives her fears

***

Her eyes reveal

a helpless child

A broken angel

shes been defiled

***

At the edge

her secrets kept

As she drifts into

the waters depth

***
