Window Pain

As I stand looking out my window

I see the milky white clouds floating by

ever so slowly one by one

They make their way past my view

I catch myself stretching out

taking in one last look

before they disappear

There were people scurrying around

down below me

going on with their mortal lives

each one with a destination

who knows where

Yet here I am in bondage

held here against my will

Though my door isn't locked

I cant seem to escape this room

Beyond these walls are evil taunts

they want to possess me

My window is like a port hole to my soul

nothing enters unless I open it

Even as I stand here in open view

no-one sees me

I exist only in my mind

To escape this room I must find the key

It also exist only in my mind

So how do I find my way back to reality

to face my insecurity beyond my door

Maybe just maybe the answer lies

beyond my window pain
