Spill my heart out on the page

of all these things I cannot change

My mother and her heart was once devoted

and her lushful pathway's now eroded

why must i feel this pain

a familiar voice i hear

but soft, yet I shiver gain

my father's face appeared.

I look into his eyes and say

Why were you a fool?

A father, never sober for his kids

a drunk that must rule?

I bang my hands upon thy glass

it never breaks, nor in disguise

but if you think time does pass

you are in for a surprise.
