this is a little darker. it is about the things we carry throughout our lives. lies, pain, people, deceit. the only onway to get rid of these demons is to realize them. although i am talking about specific people in my life, they are different for everyone.

I will feed you strength

I tried to carry your cross

I let you down

Now I bear you crown of thorns

You pushed your crown into my skin

Tears caress the ground I walk

I will still break your fall

And you will walk on my pain

But my strength will absolve you

Pain eases your pain

Close your eyes to see

You follow the distance and it follows you

Your mask yields many more

No one can save you but me

You cling to memories

You say you care for me

But you only love yourself

Looking out for no one but one

I will prevail and you will follow my lead.
