Boy, if I had the chance to see you play

Pluck that thing

Make magic from thin air

With that voice

Deep pain, you understand it

Out from the core of you

Boy, I think I'd let you play me like you play that old guitar

I would

I'm glad you sold your soul, I am

Low

Sweet

Slow

I close my eyes and that sound rains through me

In my veins

That melancholy cry rests in my soul

Breathing life, love, sadness and all that lies between

Boy, I'd sell my soul to see you play

Pluck that thing

Make magic from thin air
