It's ethereal what destiny can reveal and sincere understanding may impart.
Right from the start, you've cleansed me and held my hand inside your heart.
You've taken this soul, broken apart, and mended into a beautiful work of art.
You make my heart beat off the chart, and my mind wonder where you are.

I'd brave any trial if only I could hold you in my arms for just a little while,
and swim any ocean if it could show you my undying, burning devotion.
I would descend to hell and kill the devil himself if his grip on you fastened;
Hell could not fashion a melancholy like mine if ever you were chastened.

The joy found in your presence is like a present from God; a gift from above.
I wish words could justly define us; perhaps that's why we have LOVE.
Alas, you're the only thing I'd wish to never lose and for time to never pass,
Till the ends of this life, I will stand by your side; your heart I'll hold fast.
