In my right hand, I contain a stain of who I am and am to remain.
Escape is its destination, its emancipation from deprivation.
Here my soul will rest in solace and read "Rest in peace; soulless heed"

My left clasps seclusion, a mere illusion of resolution.
A barrier shared between the bearer and something scarier.
Reality can not beseech me; finality can not reach me.
